“A projected world of nocturnal ephemeral spaces.”
Holbrough’s work delineates omitted realities through liminal forms, confronting the unseening. Themes of classism, femininity, and religion emerge within the transcorporeal environments that engulf the canvas. Only select elements appear detailed and fleshy, a sea of phthalo green illuminates the dark night scenes. You are brought into an untethered world, where you are confronted with the unknown.

Mixed-media artist working with oil, acrylic, ink, sculpture, and site-specific installations. Katarina holds a BFA in Criticism and Curatorial Practice, minoring in Drawing and Painting. Her work has been displayed across Canada and Internationally. With the most recent show with Allgorithim, Los Angeles, US, and STACKT Market,Toronto, On. Holbrough works with themes of classicism, femininity, and religion.
